Pricing questions
Can I add or remove things later?
Any time, and it takes one click. Adding something starts straight away, and you are charged the difference for the rest of your billing period only. Removing something takes effect on your next billing date, so you keep what you have already paid for until then. You can call off a scheduled removal any time before it happens.
How does yearly billing work?
You pay for the year up front, and each website costs $240 a year. That works out to $20 a month instead of $25. Add-ons are 20% off on yearly billing too. You can switch between monthly and yearly from your account whenever you like, and whatever is left of the period you already paid for counts toward the new one.
What happens if I remove the shop or member logins?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. Your products and member accounts stay saved in your account. On your published site the shop section comes off your pages and the checkout closes; sign-in closes and members-only pages stop being reachable. Adding the feature back brings all of it straight back.
What are build credits?
Every website comes with 7,500 credits a month, and credits are how we measure the work of building and editing your site for you. A small change, like new wording or a different color, is usually 20 to 50 credits. A sitting where you go back and forth over a page is nearer 200. Building a whole site is the big one: the ones we have measured have landed between 1,200 and 5,500, which is why your first month comes with extra. Editing by hand is always free, so running low never stops you working on your site.
Do I get anything extra when I start?
Yes. Your first payment adds a one-time bonus of 7,500 credits on top of that month's allowance. Building your first site costs far more than running it afterwards, and this is here so you do not run out halfway through. It never expires, and it is one bonus per account.
How many websites can I build?
As many as you like, with as many pages as you like. Page counts are never the limit. You only pay for the sites you take live, at $20 a month each billed yearly, or $25 month to month. Drafts are free and unlimited, so you can build the next site, or try three designs, while the current one stays published.
Are forms really included?
Yes, on every website, with no add-on. A contact form is part of having a website, not an upgrade. The same goes for hosting, SSL, connecting your own domain, visitor analytics, your own code and tracking scripts, and support.
Will my price go up?
Not on its own. The price you sign up at is the price you keep. There is no introductory rate that jumps at renewal, and no annual increase. Your bill only changes when you change what is on it.
Can I cancel any time?
Of course. Cancel whenever you like and you will not be billed again. Your site and everything on it stays live until the end of the month or year you have already paid for. There are no refunds for the time left.
What if I need something that isn’t an add-on?
We build custom features to order: a booking system, a searchable listings database, a members-only tool. Each project is quoted on its own, before any work starts, and the website price above does not change. Tell us about your project.
